Excellent dispersibility underwater
FIBRIBOND® has a large number of hydrophilic OH groups so that it has good dispersibility underwater.
Increasing the strength of wet-web
FIBRIBOND® generates adhesiveness slightly when it swells underwater. The formed web mixed with FIBRIBOND® in wet-laid papermaking process can gain slight adhesive effect by press rolls. Therefore, it makes the transfer process to drying part easier by enhanced wet-web strength.
Great adhesiveness
When the wet-web mixed with FIBRIBOND® is heated rapidly, FIBRIBOND® begins to dissolve as rising water temperature, and generates strong adhesiveness as binder. In the drying part, you can gain more paper strength by combination of pressing equipment.
