ZONTES KV(Dispersant for filaments)
ZONTES KV is a dispersant (amine-based surfactant) for papermaking and a patented product of Kuraray Co., Ltd., produced by Matsumoto Yushi Seiyaku Co., Ltd. and sold by Sansho. It is effective in dispersing synthetic fibers such as vinylon and rayon as well as inorganic fibers such as glass fiber.

ZONTES KV helps to produce a sheet with good uniformity by eliminating the entanglement of filaments in each papermaking process.

Cost reduction can be expected since the papermaking speed can be improved.
If you try to obtain the dispersion effect only with the ordinary dispersant (viscous agent) without using ZONTES KV, the viscosity of the paper stock and water will increase due to the viscosity of the dispersant. It causes the drainage at the wire and cylinder part worsen. The papermaking speed might be decreased, too. However, by using ZONTES KV together, the amount of viscous agent can be reduced while maintaining papermaking speed and good uniformity of paper.
